We’re passionate about coffee – maybe even a little crazy.

Here at Glenfinlas Coffee we are committed to sourcing the best gourmet coffee from the most accomplished artisan roasters around the world. We’re on a mission to encourage a better coffee drinking culture in the UK.

Traditionally coffee drinking here has consisted of a sludgy cup of instant served with too much milk and sugar to mask the vile taste. However, things are changing. Speciality coffees are now widely available to drink in high street coffee shops, and now we can help you bring a similar experience to your home or place of work.

So What Do We Look For?

First of all we look for roasters that use the best quality coffee beans. There is a wide variety in the taste of coffee around the world. We only source brands that use 100% Coffea Arabica. These beans have more flavour and aroma than Coffea Robusta, and form the basis for creating the tastiest brews.

Next, we look for roasters that know how to roast! Now this may sound like a silly statement, but many coffee producers don’t know how to get the best out of the flavours of the coffee bean. Altering the roasting time and temperature maximises the qualities of a particular bean, bringing a special experience to your palate. We look for roasters who experiment to get the best from their beans. In our shop you’ll find a full spectrum of roasts from light to medium to dark.

Then we look for roasters that produce interesting blends. While drinking coffees from one origin is perhaps the purest way to drink coffee, blends allow the unique tastes developed through roasting to create exquisite combinations. We select the best Single Origin and blended coffees to offer something for every coffee lover.

We supply coffee with conscience. We are aware of the impact that conventionally-sourced coffee can have on the environment and on coffee growing communities. We select coffee from roasters who have a commitment to minimising these damaging effects, and include Fair Trade, Organic, shade-grown, and Rainforest Alliance coffees in our range.
